This is it! One journey ends making way for another. My DMA Lecture Recital focuses on the art of playing alone. There are no shortages of solo performances made on piano and guitar. However, the collection of unaccompanied performances on monophonic instruments is much smaller. My lecture recital will look at these performances and provide analysis and recommendations on how to best incorporate musical elements into unaccompanied performances of your own.
